Redrow strengthens its South West team with new land director and internal promotions
Housebuilder Redrow has appointed a brand-new land director, Ben Cook, as well as bolstering its growing team with internal promotions.
Ben has spent many years in the industry working for well-known housebuilders gaining expertise in his chosen field. These have included Taylor Wimpey, Crest Nicholson and Keepmoat Homes. Ben will be working with the developers and landowners in the South West to secure new plots through financial preparations, financial appraisals and legal planning.
Commenting on his new role with Redrow South West, Ben said; “I’m really pleased to be taking on this new position, securing and sourcing potential plots to help develop the thriving communities that Redrow produces.”
“I’ll work closely with the teams in the sales offices to support the company’s future success.”
Kevin Bradford, who has worked for Redrow for eleven and a half years and has won the housebuilder’s Sales Consultant of the Year accolade multiple times, has been promoted to area sales manager. Kevin joined Redrow as in 2007 and has risen through the ranks thanks to his hardworking attitude.
The talented salesman has been providing support for potential homeowners in Redrow’s developments across the South West for a long time. When asked about his new role, Kevin commented; “I love working for Redrow and seeing our developments bring joy to everyone who decides to make one of our houses a home.
“I take pride in my work because to be a salesman you must sell with conviction, especially when it’s something as important as a house. Ultimately our goal is to provide the buyer with their dream home, and I am passionate about being part of that journey and process.”
“In my new role I will be making sure house buyers are happy and our sales teams are doing everything they can to make the process of buying a home as easy as possible. I am looking forward to the new challenges this role will bring.”
Lee Hawker, managing director of Redrow South West, said “Career development and personal growth at Redrow is so important and that’s why it’s fantastic to be able to promote a number of our hardworking staff. The people and the passion they show towards the job continues to push Redrow in the right direction.
“I also have full confidence that Ben’s wealth of knowledge and experience within the sector will no doubt allow him to succeed in his new role of land director, having nurtured his skills over the years through different business environments.”
