Team Michelmores conquers the National Three Peaks Challenge
A team of 30 Michelmores staff together with two representatives from The Amber Foundation have completed the National Three Peaks Challenge, beating their fundraising target of £8,500.
Starting on 11 July, the team conquered Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England, and Snowdon in Wales, in less than 24 hours. The group covered a distance of 23 miles, a total ascent of 10,052 ft - and drove a distance of 462 miles between climbs. The challenge was in aid of the Michelmores' three charities of the year, The Amber Foundation in Exeter, Bloodwise in London and Above and Beyond in Bristol.
Paul Beanlands, partner in the Real Estate team and CSR partner for the Bristol office who organised and took part in the challenge, commented: "A huge well done to team Michelmores for rising to this challenge – it was great to see the teams come together from across all of our offices to raise money for three fantastic charities. Thank you to everyone who supported us – each charity does amazing work for their local communities and we are very pleased to support the valuable work that they do.
