Treelands has appointed David Adam as forest manager for the South West of England.

David joins the forestry and woodland management company from Forest Fuels Ltd, where he managed biomass supply contracts for a wide range of customers.

Based in the company’s Exeter office, chartered forester David has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial forest management, with specialist knowledge in relation to timber harvesting and processing.

In addition to professional forestry qualifications, he holds a NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety, an Ignite Lantra certificate in Woodfuel Production and Supply and a Prince2 project management qualification.

Guy Warren, head of Forestry for Treelands, said: “We are delighted to welcome David to the team. His expertise on issues relating to in-house biomass projects and the self-supply of biomass fuel will be particularly beneficial.

“We now have a team of four highly experienced professional foresters who each hold a wide range of complementary skills, enabling us to maximise our offering to clients.”
