Age limit lowered at Charlie’s Live Lounge

Exeter’s newest live music venue Charlie’s Live Lounge has undergone some changes since its opening in November 2013. Under the stewardship of new General Manager, Julian Eslick Charlies is now open to over 18’s after 7pm allowing a greater range of ages to enjoy the live music and great atmosphere. There is also a more relaxed dress code and no coat charge for guests.

The food and drinks served at Charlie’s sees a transformation with a new grill menu and food served all day on Saturdays. Pizza is also available until 2am on both Friday and Saturday nights. The original cocktail menu has been extended to feature 25 drinks and the bar will now be serving draught beer.

Despite the changes, Charlie’s still maintains their emphasis on showcasing and celebrating local talent. The Loft at Charlie’s Live Lounge, is the heart of entertainment and will be hosting a range of bands making it the ultimate live music destination in Exeter.

Charlie’s will be hosting a Valentines Day event with a bespoke menu, with two courses and a welcome drink for just £18.00 per person. There will also be live music from acoustic solo artist Angelina Westdorp followed by Oasis Tribute Band, SuperSonic from 10pm in The Loft.
