AME move office to Exeter Golf and Country Club

IT company celebrate the start of their 10th year in business with an office move to Exeter Golf and Country Club

AME Solutions who provide IT Solutions, Support and Training have been organically growing since starting business in 2005. With increased demand for their services, turnover up 45% on their previous year and the latest member of the technical team, Stuart Nickels joining the company earlier this year, the only thing not growing was the office space.

Steve Westaway, Sales Director of AME Solutions said,

“After many years of looking for a location that will suit all areas of the business, we are delighted to have found a new home on the second floor of Wear Park, the Georgian manor house at Exeter Golf and Country Club. For many years we have been fortunate to work from the unique 19th Century building of Sannerville Chase in the former grounds of the old hospital in Devington Park, Exminster. With Wear Park at Exeter Golf and Country Club we have managed to find something just as unique as an office space that will be suitable for our growing team. The great news is that it also allows us to provide fantastic facilities for our training delegates and enjoy the excellent food in Wear Park Restaurant just two floors downstairs!”

AME provide IT training courses to over 800 delegates per year on applications such as Microsoft, Adobe and AutoCAD, through to Social Media, Project Management and other soft skills.

Steve continues,

“With our improved facilities we will be looking to grow the training side of the business in the coming years as well as our IT support customers, as we now have more space with great quality refreshments right on site, in an inspirational environment, with experienced and motivational trainers – the perfect combination for effective training.”

Wear Park at Exeter Golf and Country Club is undergoing many changes at present with a new Head Chef in the restaurant and a new spa with ESPA and Jessica treatment rooms on the first floor. New Head Chef, Adam Little who led the kitchen team at Harry’s Grill Bar until last month, is already making plans for revamping the restaurant to encourage lunch and dinner guests during the week and weekend. Wear Park Spa is a unique beauty salon spa in the Exeter area with treatment rooms overlooking the golf course and landscaped gardens, offering a full menu of treatments including facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, waxing, bridal and pamper packages, and spa retreat days. The spa opens in December.

With AME now on-site, Exeter Golf and Country Club have also announced that they have appointed the IT company as their IT support for the entire business from the restaurant, bars and spa to the leisure club with swimming, gym, rackets and golf. Being based on-site is beneficial for both businesses with AME employees able to enjoy the club facilities as members.

“Steve and I have been golf members at Exeter Golf and Country Club for many years and when the opportunity came up to move our technical and sales team to an office that overlooks the 1st and 18th holes, we knew it was the right place to be. It has also enabled us to work closely with Chris Jones, General Manager of Exeter Golf and Country Club in providing our IT support and service to the club and its employees, and of course allow our own employees access to fabulous health and fitness facilities to ensure a great work-life balance, which is something very dear to our hearts.”

AME will be hosting an official ‘launch’ party for their customers and associates in mid-December in Wear Park.
