Michelmores LLP has appointed two new Partners and four new Associates at its Exeter and Bristol offices bringing the number of Partners to 61 and the number of Associates to 21. A new Financial Controller has also been appointed.

Stephen Newson, a transactional property specialist, and planning expert David Richardson both become Exeter-based Partners.

The new Associates are Tom Stenner–Evans (employment, Exeter), Jemma Crane and Jennifer Ridgway (both tax, trusts and succession, Exeter) and James Radcliffe (tax, trusts and succession, Bristol).

Michelmores has enhanced its senior financial team with the appointment of chartered accountant Chris Woolley, a former Head of Finance at Bevan Brittan LLP.

Managing Partner, Malcolm Dickinson said: “Michelmores is an ambitious and growing business which always aims to develop and recruit the very best legal talent.  We enjoy high retention levels because we reward success and these internal promotions clearly demonstrate the strength we enjoy across all our specialisms.

“I would also like to welcome Chris Woolley, who will be supporting Graham Johnson, our Finance Director, at an important stage in the Firm’s development.”
