Chartered Institute of PR appoint regional co-ordinator for Devon

The West of England committee for the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) has appointed Olivia Jones of Exeter-based PR agency KOR Communications as regional co-ordinator for Devon, at the AGM held in Bristol.

The role has been newly created this year to provide a series of locally run training and networking events as well as to support mentoring opportunities for PR professionals and students in Devon.

Olivia said: “Having been a member for a number of years and carrying out my post graduate studies with the CIPR I am passionate about ensuring the PR industry in Devon has high standards.

“I would welcome feedback from people working in PR in Devon, and those considering PR as a career choice, to get in touch and let me know what they would like from the CIPR.”
