Corporate team expansion for leading law firm
A leading South West law firm is expanding its corporate team in response to client demand.
Stephens Scown, which has offices in Exeter, Truro and St Austell, has recruited an experienced new partner and senior associate to its corporate team. The work of the team has increased by 30 per cent over the last year.
Simon Morris joins the firm as a partner. Simon’s previous experience includes with a national law firm in Bristol, as part of the corporate team, and more recently for an international law firm, where he was part of the healthcare and commercial IT teams.
Simon has extensive experience in a wide range of corporate transactions, acting for businesses of all sizes, from owner managed enterprises to PLCs. His commercial experience is wide ranging, including advising on outsourcing and high value supply contracts.
David Culshaw has joined Stephens Scown’s corporate team as a senior associate. He is also heading up the firm’s food and drink team, as he has a lot of experience acting for food and drink clients, particularly large food producers. David joined Stephens Scown from a large legal firm in East Anglia.
