Devon accountants Thompson Jenner LLP win national award

Accountants and business advisors Thompson Jenner LLP, one of Devon’s leading firms, is delighted to announce it has been named the winner of the award, ‘National Firm of the Year’ by the UK & Ireland arm of international accountancy association, DFK International.

The Exeter and Exmouth based accountants have been an active and prominent member of DFK UK & Ireland (DFK UKI) since joining in 2009. During that time the firm has continued to develop a growing and influential role throughout the association as well as promoting the benefits of being part of the Association to its clients, introducers and the broader local business community in Exeter and Exmouth and across Devon and the region as a whole.

The prestigious award was announced at the association’s Annual Conference in Dublin and was presented to the firm’s Managing Partner, Neil Curtis and Partner Simon Lewis, by Suk Aulak, chairman of DFK UKI.

As with previous year’ the competition for the award was intense and the firm was up against some of the top accountancy firms across the association from all over the UK and Ireland.

Suk Aulak, Partner at Chantrey Vellacott DFK and the current Chairman of DFK UKI, commented; “We are now in our eighth consecutive year of the awards and each year we continue to be impressed by our member’s contribution to DFK.

The seven partner firm is one of the most respected accountancy practices in Devon and has over the last four years played an increasingly active and valuable role in developing the association for the benefit of its clients and all member firms.

“As an association we aim to enhance the opportunities available to smaller, independent firms on a national and global scale. It is important that our members recognise the valuable contribution they can make to the growth and success of the whole.”
