Devon is the next exciting stop for fast growing regional recruitment specialists, Classpeople

Education recruitment consultancy Classpeople turns its focus to Exeter, bringing in strategic hire Amanda Patterson to aid the branch's growth.

The ten year old recruitment firm specialising in recruiting the best teachers from early years through to secondary education is replicating its success across Gloucestershire and Bristol in Exeter. Having developed a strong presence across the South West, Classpeople's Exeter office is developing strongly after a period of steady growth since its opening on 2nd April this year.

Amanda Patterson's experience of setting-up a nursing recruitment agency and turning it into a successful specialist recruitment agency makes her an advantageous addition to the Classpeople Exeter team. Her knowledge of the county and of recruiting for specialist sectors, together with Sam Leach's extensive background in education recruitment, should prove a winning formula for the Exeter office. Amanda commented: "I am thrilled to have joined Sam and the rest of the team at Classpeople at such an exciting time."

Classpeople over a decade has already helped place qualified and hardworking teachers in schools across the south west region, a process which requires a deep understanding and appreciation of the needs of both school and teachers' requirements and circumstances. The consultancy's aim is to do the same in Exeter, developing strong relationships with local schools and teachers, including full-time and supply roles.

Lynis Bassett added: "For the past ten years we have worked hard to grow Classpeople from a fledgling home-based recruitment agency into a reputable regional brand, and this is paying dividends for us as we open other offices in Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Devon, Bristol and Wiltshire. Amanda was the perfect addition - not only does she have the experience, but she shares our business' ethos and understands how we strive to do things differently at Classpeople."
