Double Accreditation For Exeter Law Firm
Exeter-based law firm, Veitch Penny is celebrating having retained its Lexcel and Investor in People quality marks, which the firm has held for 16 and 15 years respectively.
In a simultaneous audit of both awards the assessor praised the firm for its use of plain language in its client care letters, commenting, “The letters are amongst the best examples I have seen” and noted that the firm’s significant investment in its IT infrastructure “should have beneficial effects on client care.”
The assessor concluded his report by saying: “I was impressed by what I saw in the firm.”
Lexcel is an optional accreditation scheme for law firms and in-house legal departments, whose client care and business management standards are subjected to a rigorous initial and then annual application and assessment process.
The national, Investor in People, quality standard sets levels of good practice for improving an organisation's performance through its people.

Veitch Penny employs 34 staff and has offices in Exeter and Crediton.
