Employer Of The Year Nationals
It all began with a quiet nomination that made her smile and then a video which introduced Mariam Badavi and Purity Boutique Spa to the world. Now, she is nominated for the prestigious Employer of the Year Venus Award at the National Ceremony on November 22nd, 2013.
Some of you may know that some of the greatest challenges for Mariam occurred just before she opened the doors of Purity Boutique Spa. Her children gave her the courage in the face of adversity to build a strong team from scratch. She knows that showing compassion and listening to her team and supporting them in any way possible is integral to their morale and the performance of the business. This energy also extends to her clients because if her team is happy, her clients also feel at home.
With a team of Skin Angels whom have become her second family along with her sponsor, Cathedral Appointments, Mariam Badavi is honoured and grateful to have got this far and truly appreciates having such amazing support in her corner throughout this entire process.
The Women's Venus Awards began with the premise that strong female teams want to get involved and help other women, which spurs an electric current of excitement to local businesses and organisations. The effect of this energy carries within its core the possibility that anything is possible; the dream women hold on to as daughters that whatever dreams they visualise can come true. The Venus Awards represent the manifestation of women’s' goals in action.
With the help of other business women in the UK, Tara Howard MD of Langtry Manor Hotels created the Venus Awards to recognise exceptional business women who are making an impact with their passion and expertise. One handshake and smile from Mariam or one of her 'Skin Angels' and there is no question her passion for her clients and her vision is infectious, charming and inspiring. With just a few weeks away from the final national ceremony, Mariam Badavi hopes for continued success as Employer of the Year for the UK and commits to spreading the word about issues affecting her community and the world at large.
