Exeter PA wins national award

Tina Stevens, PA at Exeter law firm Michelmores has taken first place in the national Strictly Recruitment Legal PA of the Year Awards 2015, in the category of 'Up and Coming Legal PA of the Year'.

The awards recognise the very best PA talent from the UK legal sector, across four different categories − Legal PA of the Year, Legal PA Team Leader of the Year, Up and Coming Legal PA of the Year and Legal PA Employers of the Year.

Tina joined Michelmores in 2011, starting her career in the post room. She soon progressed into a Trainee PA position and has been working as a PA in the Litigation team since 2012.

On presenting Tina's award, the judges commented: “Tina has an excellent understanding of client service and regularly goes the extra mile, for example setting up “Lunch & Learn” sessions for PA's at Michelmores. Tina is a great example of the next generation of Legal PA's and we are very proud to congratulate her on winning 2015’s ‘Up and Coming Legal PA of the Year Award’”

Commenting on the win, Tina said: "I'm so happy to have won Up and Coming Legal PA of the Year – there was strong competition from PA's from across the country so I'm delighted to have come away with the award. It was a fantastic event and I am so overwhelmed by all the support from my colleagues at Michelmores."

Collecting her award after an evening reception in London, Tina was joined by Jayne Clemens, a solicitor in Michelmores' Litigation team and one of the three solicitors Tina assists.

With offices in Exeter, Bristol, and London, Michelmores is a Top 100 law firm and employs over 430 people.
