Optix Solutions celebrates 15 Years of success

On the 18 July 2014, Exeter-based Optix Solutions celebrates a very special birthday.

The brainchild of Exeter University alumni and entrepreneurs Alastair Banks and James Dawkins, Optix Solutions specialises in delivering unrivalled web design and creative digital marketing solutions to clients across the country.

Optix Solutions is now 15 years old, and business has never been better.

Optix Solutions has come a long way since its conception in 1999. Having identified a gaping hole in the market, Alastair and James set out to offer a service focusing on the individual needs of their clients, rather than a ‘one size fits all’ approach. In the wake of the ‘dot com bubble’ in the early 2000s, a lot of reactive digital marketing agencies fell by the wayside. Optix Solutions on the other hand was building momentum, using informed predictions to strategically plot the path ahead. It is this insight that has taken Optix Solutions to where it is today - a proactive web design and digital marketing agency based in the south west that is operating on a national level.

Alastair says: "James and I have been ambitious with our plans since the very beginning, and our philosophy has always been that it’s in our interests to see our clients’ businesses grow. They were also nominated for the Award for Enterprise by the Federation of Small Business Awards in 2010, and in 2013, Alastair Banks was named Entrepreneur of the Year by the Express & Echo (where Optix was also a joint winner for Employer of the Year). Most recently, Optix Solutions has been awarded the coveted Google Partner status.
