Local Redrow site manager, Paul Greenaway, has been recognised as the South West regional champion at the National House Building Council’s annual Pride in the Job awards.

Paul was awarded the title in the Large Builder category after demonstrating his commitment to achieving the highest standards in house-building, following his work at Redrow’s development, The Harringtons in Exeter.

He was recognised for his organisational skills on-site and meticulous attention to detail in every element of the build. He was also seen to demonstrate excellent leadership, technical expertise and robust health and safety processes.

Peter Shergold,  construction director for Redrow (West Country), commented: “It is fantastic for Paul’s hard work and commitment to his job to be recognised at such a high level. His management of The Harringtons has been fantastic with the work progressing safely and efficiently, resulting in high quality homes for our customers.

“With over 15,000 total entries to the Pride in the Job awards, it is a huge achievement for Paul to be selected as the best site manager within the Large Builder category in the South West. This has been a busy year for our recently-formed division and we are proud to have such a strong team behind us.”

Paul will now proceed to the fourth and final stage of the awards, the highly-competitive Supreme Awards, where the overall national winners in each of the five builder categories will be announced at a prestigious Gala ceremony in London in January next year.
