Summer sees growth for the team at Optix
The summer months are proving bright for Exeter digital marketing agency Optix Solutions with two new faces added to the team.
In July, Matt Fletcher was appointed as Digital Marketing Manager. Matt has a wealth of marketing experience across multiple disciplines including brand & digital strategy, SEO, email marketing, and social media.
Before joining Optix, his career was predominantly in the travel and leisure sector, including leading the brand marketing strategy and championing an integrated, multi-channel campaign approach for two well-known national self-catering holiday brands in the UK.
Senior Digital Marketing Manager & Head of Training Jack Warne said: “Matt’s client-side experience means that he offers a slightly different dynamic to complement the wealth of skills that we already have in-house. This will be a significant benefit for our clients.”
Arts University Bournemouth graduate Lulu Williams came on board in early August to start her role as Sales & Marketing Executive. Having studied events management, Lulu became interested in marketing; during 2021 she worked as a Marketing Executive in an eco-hostel, helping to build their audience back up from the hit of Covid-19 through digital marketing.
She says, “Studying events at university has allowed me to think of how events could be used at Optix to discover new potential opportunities – so for the future I will be getting involved in any educational talks that Optix organise.”
Lulu will be helping to maintain strong relationships with clients and supporting Sales Strategists by providing any information needed to do a thorough analysis and audit.
Optix MD Rob added: “Lulu is a great asset to the team; her enthusiasm and positivity is infectious. We hope that we can help her reach all her goals and we feel grateful that she has joined the team.”
The appointments bring the Optix team numbers to 19 including three directors, putting them in a healthy position to manage current and upcoming client projects effectively.
