Classpeople's new management team shines a light on tomorrow's business leaders

As part of its expansion across the South West, education recruitment specialist Classpeople has chosen to develop its new senior management team from within the company itself.

The strategic move to promote seven members of the team will give way to the arrival of 12 new graduate level recruitment consultants who will be divided across Classpeople's offices throughout the South West and Midlands.

The new senior management team will take the company forward by building upon its success over the past 11 years and continues to expand its regional footprint. Having opened a new branch in Swindon earlier this year and with plans to expand to 10 regional offices over the next five years, this new management team will be a driving force towards growing the business.

The management team consists of Lisa Harker (Swindon Branch Manager), Naomi Howells (Cheltenham Branch Manager), Kevin Parker (Bristol Branch Manager), Samantha Leach (Exeter Branch Manager), Vicki McAlary (Primary Team Manager), Gemma Jones (Business Manager Early Years) and James Woodman (Finance Manager).

"With the talent we have seen from within the company, it made little sense to hire from the outside for our senior team." commented Lynis Bassett, Classpeople Founder and Director. "Our new senior management team, the majority of whom are under 30, have truly proven themselves as a team who can help to drive the company forward. We encourage our staff to aim high and have been so impressed with their hard work, enthusiasm and knowledge that we decided to recognise their efforts as we expand. The new senior management team will be given leadership and management training to assist them as they grow each of their specialist areas, and we look forward to seeing them thrive and developing their skills as professional recruitment consultants."

One member of staff who demonstrated a keen business sense and skill for recruitment early on is Kevin Parker, newly appointed Bristol Branch Manager.

Kevin Parker, who joined Classpeople one year ago as a Recruitment Consultant, added: "I have been given many opportunities to encourage the growth of the company. I was encouraged to spearhead the Worcester branch and further expand our geographical reach to the north."

The senior management team will be supported by new recruits Richard Vivian, Luke Morman, Jade Hodges, Dominque Atkinson, Britney Bolton, Ashley Heath, Andrew Cross, Alexandra Ford, Robert Watson and Carly Wheeler across the Swindon, Exeter, Bristol, Cheltenham and Worcester branches.

Recently shortlisted for the Gloucestershire Business Awards, ‘Small Business of the Year', Classpeople has become a leading player in South West education recruitment, with a passion for developing fresh talent, both within the teaching community and its professional recruiters.
