Three promotions at Everys Solicitors

Everys Solicitors has recently promoted three of the firm’s legal experts.

Kevin James has been promoted to partner while Jo Knight and Margaret Broom are now associates.

Mr James, who works out of Everys’ head office in Southernhay Gardens, Exeter, specialises in commercial law using his experience of dealing with a range of commercial property transactions including land acquisition, development and disposal. He regularly advises on associated matters relating to planning and environmental issues. His client base spans the region from Exeter to Cornwall, including Plymouth, Torbay and Tavistock.

Mrs Knight, who is based at the Honiton branch, is also a member of the commercial law team and she undertakes all types of commercial and property work, including the sale and purchase of businesses, land, commercial properties, option agreements and commercial leases.

Meanwhile, Miss Broom is an experienced practitioner in private client work, working in Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton, to assist clients with their wills, tax planning, trusts, powers of attorney and succession planning.
