Basepoint Exeter presents cheque for over £2600 to local charity Balloons
Local fundraising efforts have been rewarded by Basepoint Exeter with a cheque for £2663 in match-funding. The money was raised for Balloons throughout November and December 2013, at local events including a Christmas Craft Fair, Charity Auction and a Bikers fundraising evening.
Balloons is a charity that provides support for children, young people and families, before an expected death or following the death of someone significant in their lives.
Basepoint Exeter Centre Manager, John Ashment, comments: “We are thrilled to be able to present this cheque to Balloons. It is great to help such a fantastic charity and work alongside the local community. We are looking forward to another year of fundraising for such a worthy cause.”
