Celebrating 35 years of Exminster Pre-school
Exminster’s ‘Outstanding’ village Pre-school commemorated its 35th Anniversary by hosting a special celebration party for all pre-school children and their families.
Children enjoyed a good old fashioned tea party, games and entertainment, and Josie Walledge, Chair of Exminster Parish Council, officially marked the anniversary by unveiling a commemorative plaque.
The pre-school was started many years before officially registering as Exminster Pre-school in June 1981. Over the years this welcoming village pre-school has seen many changes and growth but remains as committed to providing a nurturing environment with excellent educational opportunities for children aged 2 to 5 years.
Leah Barnes, Pre-school Manager, said: “It was a really lovely afternoon and a wonderful way to celebrate our 35th anniversary! The day offered a time to reflect on just how many children have attended our pre-school over the years and how much we have grown and developed in that time. The children and their parents all really embraced the day and we would like to say thank you to everyone who came, it was a great turn out.”
