An Exmouth Hospiscare shop is looking for creative and energetic people to join its team of hard working volunteers.

Volunteering is a great way for people, especially school leavers and college students, to gain some work experience and learn a wide range of skills to add to their CV’s for future employment.

The charity shop, situated in the Magnolia Centre, Exmouth, is currently manned by a friendly team of 12 volunteers aged between 30 and 82.

The team is now looking for people to fill a variety of different roles within the shop.

Shop Manager Karien Naden said: “We are looking for anyone who is willing and able to join our happy and friendly team.

“People like to volunteer because it’s nice for them to meet new people and learn new workplace skills while doing something worthwhile for a good cause.”

A wide range of roles are available at the Chapel Street shop including steaming, stock pricing and donation sorting, with each role offering people the chance to learn new skills from till work and customer service to pricing and labelling.

Hospiscare is your local charity, providing high-quality, free of charge care and support to people with terminal illnesses in Exeter, mid and east Devon.

For more information on volunteering at Exmouth’s Hospiscare shop or to learn more about the roles available call Karien on 01395 222082 or email volunteering@hospiscare.co.uk.
