Photography studio launches calendar with a difference

Exeter's new photography studio is launching a calendar with a difference.

This will not be a selection of saucy kiss me quick poses, rather a celebration of everything that is good about Exeter, and in particular those people that are the lifeblood of the community, the carers, the volunteers, the school dinner lady.

There's one in every road, and without them most of what we take for granted wouldn't exist - or function half as well.

There will be a whole host of people associated with the calendar but Dana Mulligan at Cartridges Solicitors in St Thomas needed no encouragement to get involved. In fact she was so keen she wanted to see what it would be like on the other side of the lens and paid a visit to the studio and grabbed a quick portrait session.

John English, of The Owl and the Pussycat Wedding Photography, said: "It's an exciting project and one my wife and I are keen on personally.

"I'm looking forward to creating a collection of modern photographs that reflect and capture the community spirit that is at the heart of St Thomas."
