Seven colleagues from Morrisons’ Exeter store, led by store general manager Glen Allen, jumped out of a plane at 15,000 feet yesterday (Wednesday) for charity.

Sandra Mott, Richard Fleming, Nick Stevens, Ben Burton, Leanne Berry and Chrissy Carver took part in the jump at Dunkerswell Airfield.

Between them they have raised £3,000 for Sue Ryder’s vital community care and support in Devon.

Glen Allen said: “We all had a fantastic time and want to do it again!

“We all agreed that the 60 sec freefall was the most exhilarating bit of the dive, I'm proud of us all.”

Morrisons hopes to fundraise £8 million nationwide for its charity partner Sue Ryder over the next three years.

The money raised will enable the charity to establish new community services, family support teams and an online support community, providing the best possible care to people at the end of their lives and support for their families
