Vote for Hospiscare to win charity fund

Hospiscare is thrilled to have been nominated as one of the three charities to gain from Chelsea Building Society’s ‘Charity Choice’ Scheme. Members of Chelsea Building Society and the general public are able to visit the South Street, Exeter branch, until 8 November to vote for their favourite local charity to receive the Charitable Foundation’s support.

The charity which receives the most votes will receive a donation of £500, the second £300 and the third £200.

Mike Tate, Manager of Chelsea Building Society in Exeter explained, ‘The charities benefitting are all important to our community so it’s great that the final decision will be placed in the hands of our members to decide how the money will be split.  As a mutual organisation we always look to support local charities and good causes so I really hope everyone will take the opportunity to come into the branch to make their vote count.’

John Arnold, Hospiscare’s Corporate Fundraiser said, ‘We are delighted to have been nominated as one of the three charities to gain from the ‘Charity Choice Scheme’. We would like to encourage people to visit the Chelsea building society in Exeter and vote for Hospiscare. The money will allow us to make a real difference to people with terminal illness in Exeter, mid and east Devon.’
