Schools and colleges invited to free IT and communications technology seminar
South West Communications Group has designed an IT and communications technology seminar specifically aimed at the education sector.
The Exeter-based telephone system, data centre and data networks business has brought together its own experts and other leading industry speakers to provide an up-to-date insight into the latest technology changes that could benefit schools, colleges and universities.
South West Communications Group ran a similar event aimed all types of businesses and organisations earlier this year and, after listening to feedback, has created this education-specific seminar that will take place on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Sandy Park Stadium & Conference Centre.
Sales director Sarah Flowers said: “As well as speakers, we will be using case study examples to bring the technology to life in real situations. We hope this will prompt open discussion and an opportunity to share examples and experiences for the benefit of all.”
Technologies on the agenda include Internet access and filtering, data networks, Microsoft SharePoint, telephony, and bring your own device (BYOD) working.
