The Creation Station - Exeter & Mid Devon launches new six-week programme in conjunction with RAMM
The Creation Station Exeter & Mid Devon currently provides creative children's art and craft classes at various venues in and around Exeter. Their Little Explorer sessions for 1 – 5 year olds focus not on the end product, but on the journey of discovery the children experience whilst making their creations.
With the help of RAMM their journey of discovery is about to be expanded to a whole new level. Over six weeks The Creation Station will be looking at several of the collections held at RAMM, alongside Exeter’s youngest museum visitors. Together they will be exploring how these collections inspire our imagination and how this influences their journey of discovery. Each week children take away their creations to proudly show to friends and family, while parents don't have to worry about the clean up. The parents/grandparents or carers attend the classes with the children, enjoying great quality creative time with their little ones, but also benefiting from the social, friendly environment to make new friends.
Erin Blake of The Creation Station – Exeter & Mid Devon, will run the new sessions. She hopes “to introduce Devon’s toddlers to the exciting and intriguing collections held at RAMM, and install a new level of excitement to both my little explorer sessions and RAMMs collections.”
Sessions will be held at RAMM on Thursday morning 10.30am from the 9th January 2014. They will cost £5 per child and £2.50 for siblings. Booking is essential and can be done by contacting Erin Blake on 0844 824 4534 or email erinblake@thecreationstation.co.uk.
