Exeter School features as number 98 in a list of the top 400 independent secondary schools in the 2022 edition of The Sunday Times Parent Power.

This means that the co-educational day school for 7-18 year-olds maintains its ranking as the top independent school in Devon.

Exeter School Head, Ms Louise Simpson, said: “The Parent Power table is about so much more than exam results; it also reflects how well a school supports pupil mental health and how well-rounded the offering is. Whilst our phenomenal exam results are testament to our hard-working pupils and dedicated staff, I am delighted that our school is recognised in this defining list for all the work we do outside of the classroom, offering character developing opportunities, thus ensuring our pupils are resilient, determined young people ready for bright futures. There are several excellent private schools in the region, so being recognised as the top independent school in Devon, Cornwall and Somerset is a real accomplishment and one we are truly proud of.”
