QE Joins Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust
Partnership Will Help Deliver Improved Educational Outcomes for QE Students
Queen Elizabeth’s School is pleased to announce its partnership with the Ted Wragg Multi Academy Trust (MAT).
After rigorous Staff and Parent/Carer consultations, held over two months, QE Trustees voted unanimously in favour of joining the Trust
With significant benefit already seen across the school, from increased involvement with fellow schools in the Trust, the process now involves extensive due diligence works by both parties to ensure a smooth transition, with the aim of achieving this as soon as possible in the New Year.
QE’s Principal Rupert Poole said: “I am very excited by the opportunities this move brings to all members of our school community.
:Whilst we obviously face a challenging economic outlook in the years to come, working within the Ted Wragg MAT is the best way to secure potentially significant investment in the school buildings and we have already started investigating how we can best achieve that ambition together.
"Concurrently this partnership will not only enable us to build on the progress we have made in recent years, but the increased capacity that working within a MAT brings, will help improve educational outcomes throughout the school, including our exceptional Sixth Form.
"QE’s future is looking very bright indeed!”
