Visitors can explore the scenic trails and meet some of the friendly resident donkeys cared for at the sanctuary, including the gentle giant Poitous, the adoption donkeys and cute miniature donkeys. It is also a great time to enjoy an autumnal walk through the woods, try your luck in the maze and even venture down the Weston valley to the sea.
Visitors can learn more about the charity’s worldwide work and find out why donkeys are so special through fun, interactive displays in the Exhibition Barn and Understanding Donkeys Zone, or join one of the daily tours, talks or demonstrations.
The Taste of the West award-winning restaurant, The Kitchen, serves up fresh, local, seasonal produce with unparalleled coast and country views, while the new Sunday Brunch menu is the perfect weekend treat to enjoy with friends and family. For unique donkey-design items and souvenirs, or the chance to do some Christmas shopping, the well-stocked Gift Shop provides a great choice.
