Queen’s Drive Space reopens for new season of fun!
Queen’s Drive Space in Exmouth has reopened for a new season with a top line-up of entertainment and fun planned for all the family from now until September.
The outdoor space on the seafront, created by East Devon District Council, features a Jurassic-themed play park, scrumptious food and drink stalls and an events area for live performances and big screen films and live streamed shows from theatres across the UK.
The Space reopened at the weekend and scores of families enjoyed live music from the Break Beat Bandits and Laurie Ward joined by John Mcloughlin. With a beach bar and food outlets the area was buzzing with activity with residents, visitors and children enjoying the fun.
The first live streamed show to the big screen is on Tuesday June 11 with a performance of Romeo and Juliet from the Royal Opera House which starts at 6.30pm.
The site will be open every day during the school holidays and every weekend on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until the summer school holidays when it will be open throughout the week again. Live music will be on site every Friday night from 5pm to 7pm.
