Exeter’s Scouts and Guides return to the Barnfield Theatre for Gang Show 2024.
After a couple of years away from Exeter’s Barnfield Theatre, Exeter Scout and Guide Gang Show will make a welcome return to its natural home for their 2024 show.
Taking place from Wednesday 10th to Saturday 13th April, Exeter Gang Show 2024 is packed full of popular songs, dance, comedy and laugh out loud sketches performed by Scouts and Guides from across Exeter and the local area.
The cast of almost 70 Cubs, Brownies, Scouts, Guides, Explorers, Rangers and their Leaders are coming together to raise the roof and raise a smile of audiences throughout the week.
The Gang Show is a real mix of music, dance and comedy, boasting over 35 different songs, spread across 14 scenes exploring everything from chess to the weather and dragons to construction. All this is stitched together with fast-paced sketches and dances that will have you returning for more.
Co-producers of the show, Helen Bryant and Dave Britton said: “Exeter Gang Show is incredibly proud to be back at the Barnfield Theatre. It is a real home coming after a few years away. It gives Scout and Guides ranging from age 9 and up, that real theatre experience, helping to build confidence, learn new skills and make life-long friends while showcasing what they can do in front of the local community.
“The show is a great night out for all the family. There really is something for everyone with sections exploring time itself, as well as rock music through the last 50 years. Most of all it brings together all ages from Guiding and Scouting, giving them the opportunity to perform on stage, enjoy the limelight and take away that buzz that you can only get from the roar of the crowd.”
The Exeter Scout and Guide Gang Show will be at Barnfield Theatre, Exeter from Wednesday 10th to Saturday 13th April. Performances start at 7.00 pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.00 pm.
