Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman to play Exeter

Nominated for this year's BBC Radio 2 Folk Award for Best Duo ( having previously won in 2013 ), Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman will appear at Exeter Phoenix on April 17th in support of their new 'mini-album', entitled ' Saved For A Rainy Day'.

Grab your chance to see them perform locally before they head off to play at The Royal Albert Hall in London for the BBC Folk Awards.

"Over the years there have been several cover songs we have performed live and never got round to recording , along with a couple of original songs that didn't ' fit ' with our previous full releases. These have often been requested on CD and, subsequently, ' Saved For A Rainy Day ' has become a limited edition of rarities.It will only be available at our live gigs."

Firmly established as one of folk-scene's busiest and most respected duos, the husband and wife can be found at a variety of venues around the country.
