Legendary jazzman in Exeter
This Saturday, 21st November, there will be a rare chance to spend an informal afternoon with Mike Westbrook, musician and Britain’s foremost avant garde jazz composer.

At this event, presented by the Devonshire Association Music Section, Mike, with Kate, will be talking about his work, using recordings with films and slides, and particularly about compositions inspired by Devon: ‘Erme Estuary’, ‘Tamar River’, ‘Paradise Shuffle’ and ‘Chanson Irresponsable’.
The event takes place at the Exeter Community Centre, 17 St. David’s Hill, Exeter, starting at 2.30pm.
Admission is £8, or £5 for NUS or Devonshire Association members (proof required).
