Oxjam Exeter 2013 announces line-up for Takeover Weekend
Oxjam Exeter, which The Exeter Daily is delighted to be supporting as headline sponsor, has confirmed the line-up that will be performing live across venues in Exeter during the Oxjam Exeter Takeover weekend, taking place on 19 and 20 October 2013.
Confirmed artists include Alex Gregory (nominated for ‘Best Acoustic Act’ at the South West Music Awards) and The Loose Cannons Band (won ‘Best Soul/R&B Act’ at the South West Music Awards) in addition to local favourites Lion the Weak, Mozura, Wise Intentions, The Nameless Girl, Cut Purse Rascals, Jay Tamkin, Moscow Magazine, Tourists and Andy Watts
These artists will be among 60 acts playing at the Takeover weekend, all of which are kindly donating their time free of charge.

The Revelry / Cellar Door
The Globe Inn
Princesshay
Guildhall Shopping Centre
Oxjam Exeter hopes to raise £10,000 for Oxfam and the volunteer team organising the event are relying on the generosity of the local community in order to put on a successful festival.
Tickets for the Takeover weekend are available online at the Oxjam Exeter website: oxjamexeter.blogspot.co.uk or the Facebook page: Oxjam Exeter Takeover 2013. Tickets can also be purchased on the weekend itself from any of the venues (except Princesshay).
Takeover ticket holders will also be able to access a range of discounts from participating organisations in Exeter including STA Travel and Gourmandine Creperie and Bistrot. A full list can be found on the Oxjam Exeter website.
In addition, Exeter Street Food and Innovations Market based in the Guildhall Shopping Centre are opening especially on Sunday 20 Oct to support the festival.
