Singers wanted for Open Mic UK 2015
Open Mic UK’s 2015 auditions begin in two months.
The national music competition Open Mic UK is the biggest search for unsigned artists in the UK and it’s calling all singers, singer-songwriters, vocal groups, rappers and solo artists to get involved in their singing auditions which begin in August. With over 9,000 people entering last year, and a fifteen-date audition tour in place this year, 2015 is definitely the year to enter!
Open Mic UK focuses on developing acts with music industry feedback and live performance experience, and in addition there are thousands of pounds worth of prizes up for grabs throughout the music competition, with the overall winner receiving a £5,000 advance to spend on the development of their music. Not only this, but they’ll also receive an extensive publicity package and a comprehensive consultation and development package which includes advice on image and branding, a social media revamp and access to industry contacts.
As well as the winner’s prize package, Open Mic UK also gives away recording studio time at the country’s best studios, and vocal lessons with some of the UK’s finest singing schools.
If you think you’ve got what it takes to be the next major recording artist, Open Mic UK are taking entries for the 2015 auditions on their website now, at www.openmicuk.co.uk.
