Spring Comedies - Broadclyst Style

Broadclyst Theatre Group invites you to join us for a lively spring comedy romp as they offer up a brace of one-act plays which will send you bouncing home with a big smile on your face.

Both the one-act plays being offered up for your delectation are comedies - but in terms of their subject matter, they couldn't be more different. Intensive Care is a comedic thriller set in a hospital ward, in which our protagonist George enters for a routine procedure. His then shock announcement that he is about to undergo major surgery involving a new heart will have you questioning the meaning of the word operation!

Final Whistle, by contrast, is a touching, beautiful story about one man’s love of the  beautiful game or perhaps it’s more about the love of a beautiful new flatmate – which is it? Well, you really have to listen to the voices in his head…...

Final Whistle and Intensive Care will be performed at Broadclyst Victory Hall on Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March, with both performances starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are £8, and are available from Broadclyst Post Office or via Ticketsource. Please bear in mind if you are planning on bringing children to the shows that Final Whistle does include some strong language.
