Sarah Deere-Jones is one of the UK’s most talented and versatile harpists, she was classically trained but soon turned her focus onto medieval and traditional music. She regularly appears at major music and harp festivals in America and Australia performing solo concerts and holding workshops for student harpists.

As well as performing haunting songs and dazzling instrumentals from the English traditional and Celtic genres she also includes jazz and world music.

Her work using the Aeolian harp (wind blown) has lead to her music being broadcast on national TV and Radio where it has been widely acclaimed. Sarah’s own research on the medieval harp has shown how it is truly a traditional English, as well as Celtic musical instrument, and her concerts, which are full of dry humour, present the harp and it’s image, in an entirely different light.
