X Factor's Marcus Collins to play Exeter
Marcus Collins will be performing in Exeter early next year with his full live band.
Friday 20th march 2015 Marcus Collins will be performing at Exeters Lemon Grove with his full band plus support.
Marcus Collins, at just 23 years old, has already achieved great heights in his singing and musical career after his journey started on TV’s highest rating talent show, The X Factor.
Marcus became a firm favourite right from the beginning and his talent was nurtured by his mentor, Gary Barlow. Marcus proved himself adept at putting in startling musical performances, moving through different styles and genres of music with ease. However, it was his slick interpretation of Motown and soul classics that assured him a place in the final, where he got to sing his series showstopper ‘(Your Love Keeps Lifting Me) Higher and Higher’ as well as teaming up with Gary for a spectacular duet.
After finishing as runner up on The X Factor Marcus was immediately snapped up to begin recording and released his debut album which featured production by the London-based Metrophonic team, who had previously worked with Whitney Houston and Cher. The album included the critically acclaimed cover of The White Stripes hit ‘Seven Nation Army’ which also became his first top 10 single in the UK.
Also performing on the night will be X Factor finalist Kitty Brucknell plus up and coming artist Lauren Wright and Michael James.
tickets for this night are only £10 and these can be purchased from www.exeterboxoffice.com from 9AM tomorrow.
