Cinderella

A classic rags to riches story about a beautiful young girl who is cruelly treated by her jealous Ugly Step-sisters. If she’s to meet her Prince Charming and find true love before the clock strikes midnight, she’ll need all the magic her Fairy Godmother can muster up, along with the help from her best friend Buttons.  Will Cinderella get her fairy-tale ending? Peter Pan

Beauty and the Beast

The Spirit Whistle 
The Oak Room, St Peter Street, Tiverton
Iron Moon Arts return to the stage with a chilling ghost show for Christmas. Ghost puppetry, comedy, film and exceptional physical theatre skills will make The Spirit Whistle a thrilling experience for theatre-goers ages 10 and upwards. A Christmas Carol

The Steampunk Priate Yule Ball

Stan Hacking Band Christmas Spectacular

This Concert Wind Band will perform a wide variety of music including marches, classical favourites, music from film and stage and plenty of Christmas classics.  Over the years the band has raised over £330,000 for local charities and will be supporting two local charities this year. Father Christmas visits Knightshayes

No Christmas is complete without a visit to Knightshayes to see Father Christmas and do some craft with one of his elves in his busy workshop. Christmas at Cricklepit

A day of family activities at the historic mill. Children's activities include making natural Christmas decorations and bird feeders to give the birds in your garden a treat at this chilly time of year.  There will also be the chance to meet Father Christmas and his reindeer! Mince pies and hot drinks will be available, while visitors can also buy from the charity’s wonderful range of Christmas cards, calendars and other wildlife-related gifts. Carol Service
Sunday, 5.30pm, South Street Baptist Church, Exeter
The Exeter and District Mencap Society in conjunction with Celebrate Together, Exeter’s Church for the city’s differently-abled community, hold their annual Carol service at 5.30pm, which will be followed by refreshments.

EXHIBITIONS

The Beauty of Light on Dartmoor
Dartmoor National Park Visitor Centre, Princetown
An exhibition by international award winning photographer and film maker Jonathan Scott. Jonathan has travelled the world and has had his work featured by the likes of National Geographic, the Discovery Channel, Google, the BBC, ITN and many more.  The exhibition is open until 5 March 2017.

MAKE 2016 Contemporary Crafts for Christmas
From Saturday, Devon Guild of Craftsmen, Bovey Tracey
The annual Christmas selling exhibition Make showcases over 50 designer-makers from across the UK. With works in a variety of disciplines and with a range of prices to suit everyone. The event runs until 2 January. www.crafts.org.uk
