The past six months have seen some exciting changes for the South West’s busiest multi-artform venue. With a large capital project to improve facilities on the horizon, and the launch of their public fundraising campaign in October, 2018 promises to be an exciting year for the city’s arts scene. Exeter Phoenix’s buzzing hub for theatre, live music, indie cinema and contemporary arts has historically brought a wealth of unique arts experiences and big names to the region. And having just announced their new season of events spanning January to April 2018, the new year is no different....

The Crediton Parish Church Flower Festival is one of the main fundraising events for the upkeep of Holy Cross and many people from our parishes work to make it a very special and memorable week.

The 2018 Festival has the intriguing title ‘In Our Element’ and runs from 10.30am on Saturday 2nd June until 5 pm on Thursday 7th June.

Work towards the 2018 Flower Festival began as soon as the 2017 Festival ended. The title of the last Festival was ‘What’s the Point’, and a big talking point was a rhino in the church.

The play equipment currently in the Honiton Bottom Local Nature Reserve is coming to the end of its serviceable life and is due to be removed over the next few months.
