Ten Reasons it Has to be Devon Fizz for Xmas

And you will have the added satisfaction of knowing that you are supporting local grape growers and the local economy."

Don’t believe Decanter? Well how about France’s leading wine magazine La Revue du Vin. It found Yearlstone Vineyard’s Vintage Brut 2006 the 4th best fizz in England “ a beautiful example of sparkling wine & great value for money”

How about France’s leading wine competition for fizzes - Effervescents du Monde - which  awarded Sharpham’s latest sparkler a silver medal just a few weeks ago.

Devon has a swathe of top English fizz makers - Yearlstone, Sharpham, Pebblebed, Kenton and now Eastcott.

English fizz prices are comparable to mid level Champagnes - but there are some special Xmas offers out there...Yearlstone is offering a mixed half case of pink & white fizz for £99..working out at a fabulous £16 per bottle.

It’s a great way to impress friends who may not yet have woken up to the march of English fizzes up the world wine ladder.

Buying a local fizz is a great excuse to visit the vineyards directly and pick up other bargains from wine tours to gift vouchers and wine books.
