International Clinical Trials Day at the RD&E
The RD&E is celebrating International Clinical Trials Day on Monday (May 20).
The day marks the first recognised research project which was conducted by James Lind into cures for Scurvy in the 18th century. Research is now a core part of the NHS with funding provided to support better prevention, diagnosis and treatment of health related conditions.
The Research and Development Directorate and National Health Institute Network representatives will be promoting research at the RD&E in the Oasis Restaurant and in the main entrance of the Wonford Hospital site.
