Looking for a local refresher antenatal course? If you already have a child and are pregnant again, you may want to prepare yourself for the birth and focus on life with a new baby in the family. With the NCT you can help to prepare yourself for the birth of another baby by attending new refresher antenatal courses in Exeter.

NCT Refresher Antenatal courses offer parents a chance to consider past birth experiences and build on those to prepare for looking after your new baby. Courses include antenatal preparation for birth and parenthood, and a reunion after all the babies are born.

To book an NCT Refresher Antenatal course in Exeter call Melanie Viranyi on 0844 243 6950 or email at bookings3a@nct.org.uk

Classes run over two Wednesday evenings women only and one Saturday morning for couples starting in July, or three Tuesday evenings (two women only) starting in September.

Jen Hitchmough, Parent Services Administrator, NCT, says; "Becoming a parent for a second or third time can be just as challenging as the first time. Often parents have toddlers or older children to look after and don’t have the time to prepare for a new arrival. NCT Refresher Antenatal courses offer the chance to do so - plus all parents on the course will be in the same situation, so it’s a great opportunity to share experiences and make new friends.”

NCT Refresher Antenatal courses are tailored to the needs of parent’s previous birth experiences and their desires for the forthcoming birth. Plus, the course will be appropriate - whether you have a large or small gap or whether this is your second or your sixth baby.

Unlike many other courses, NCT’s Refresher Antenatal courses are run by teachers who are fully qualified to diploma level; ensuring they are highly skilled before taking their class. All information provided on the course is researched and evidence-based. There is a charge for the courses but there are discounts available dependant upon income. Profit from the course is invested back into the charity’s campaigns and services.

The NCT is dedicated to supporting parents through a range of antenatal and postnatal courses and a network of over 300 local branches around the UK, run by volunteers, offering breastfeeding support, bumps and babies groups, coffee mornings, nearly new sales and much, much more.
