Exeter-based Flybe has announced a new scheme which allows customers to book flights and to hold a "Price Lock-Down" fare for 24 hours before confirming and paying for their Flybe flight.

Travel planners will now have the benefit of being able to check and finalise all their travel details knowing that the price of a flight will held with the "Price Lock-Down".  Customers may then confirm their held Fare within 24 hours by retrieving their Price Lock-Down booking on Flybe.com.

The "Price Lock-Down" is available for Exeter's Flybe Flights from just £5 on all Essentials and New Economy bookings made on the airline's website and when made no later than 14 days prior to the date of travel.

Simon Lilley, Flybe’s Director of Marketing, comments: “We appreciate our customers have busy lives and that making travel plans should be as quick, easy and convenient as possible. To this end, our new "Price Lock-Down" is an enabler to travel, allowing Flybe to guarantee the price of a flight for 24 hours so our online bookers can go ahead and firm up any other travel details with complete peace of mind.”

“We’re also pleased to once again be the UK industry leader in introducing this additional benefit for our online customers that gives them more flexibility and choice than any other airline when initiating travel plans.”
