The Devon Hotels and Restaurants Association has teamed up with the Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink to offer accommodation and ticket packages for those travelling to the city. Members of the association including the Mill End Hotel, Dartmoor; the Sidholme Hotel, Sidmouth and the Abode Hotel, Exeter are offering visitors a reduced festival ticket price and discounted accommodation for food fans to make the most of their weekend in Exeter.

Mike Coombes, Managing Director at the Mill End Hotel on Dartmoor said, “The Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink has firmly established itself on the events calendar, and is a fantastic showcase for the regional food and drink industry.  We’re already promoting the festival to our guests coming to stay at Mill End, and we’re expecting plenty of interest.”

Derek Phillips, Chairman of the Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink said: “With the festival recently winning Tourism Event of the Year at the Devon Tourism Awards, it’s clear that it’s a big draw for people travelling to the region. This collaboration with local hotels offers visitors a great value package and a chance to discover all the festival has to offer.”

The Exeter Festival of South West Food & Drink will be running from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th April in Exeter Castle and Northernhay Gardens.  The three-day festival celebrates the outstanding food and drink of the South West, featuring more than one hundred regional producers, top chefs, workshops and food-themed activities for all the family.

It’s the perfect opportunity to get a real taste of the region, to meet the people behind the produce, and to enjoy a foodie weekend in beautiful surroundings.
