Millbrook Village, the retirement village in Exeter, Devon has launched 23 new two and three bedroom homes at Sanderling House with prices starting from £405,000. The collection of apartments marks the completion of the final phase of the community designed for active over 55s.
On Friday 2 August, local residents were treated to a cheese and wine afternoon, followed by a village tour and an opportunity to view the beautiful new apartments at Sanderling House. Exeter-based Pebblebed Vineyards provided a selection of English wines made from grapes grown in East Devon, which were complemented by a selection of cheeses from Quicke's Farm Shop.
Millbrook Village is located in an idyllic position on the upper banks of the River Exe and close to Exeter city centre. The annual awards, run by the Elderly Accommodation Counsel (EAC), celebrate the best specialist housing for older people and Millbrook Village was is one of only 300, out of the UK's 25,000 retirement housing schemes, to win a top regional prize in the 8th annual awards.
