First two homes complete at Nursery Gardens
Housebuilding at the landmark development Nursery Gardens in Exeter has stormed ahead with the first two homes completed and another 18 homes set to complete by the end of 2021.
Yesterday, Managing Director of Halsall, Andy Corp and Stonewater’s Director of Development Operations, James Bradbury marked the completion of the landscaping to the first two homes with an on-site celebration.
Nursery Gardens is the first development being delivered as a Joint Venture and partnership between leading housing provider Stonewater and award-winning business Halsall Homes, part of the larger Halsall entity.
Upon completion, Nursery Gardens will comprise a total of 20 new homes with an area of open space, located within close proximity to amenities in the thriving city of Exeter.
The homes, in the village of Monkerton are perfect for modern family living and have a wide range of Ofsted rated ‘Good’ schools nearby, as well as fantastic commuter links.
Halsall is a family owned, award winning partner and contractor involved in various projects across the South West, providing schools, care homes, healthcare facilities, commercial and housing developments.
Prior to this scheme, Halsall Homes worked in partnership to bring other much-needed affordable housing to high demand areas, such as Wincanton, with Stonewater – one of the biggest housing providers in the region.
A total of seven homes on the Nursery Gardens development are being offered for rent or shared ownership, whilst nine three-bedroom houses and four four-bedroom houses, will be available for open market sale.
Andy Corp, Managing Director for Halsall said: “It is incredibly important for us to make a positive difference to people’s lives and to support the communities within which we are building homes. This development sees an additional twenty new homes – of which seven are for affordable or shared ownership, contributing to the vast shortage the UK is currently experiencing.”
James Bradbury, Director of Development Operations at Stonewater said: “Together, with Halsall Homes, we’re creating a range of quality homes to help meet the pressing need for affordable housing in this area, as well as enabling aspiring homeowners to get their foot on the property ladder.”
“The contemporary design and finish of the homes is outstanding, and it is great to see the progress that has been made here so far at Nursery Gardens. It is clear to see the benefits and positive outcome this development will have on the community and those that choose to live here.”
Thirteen three and four-bedroom homes are available to purchase through agents LSL Land and New Homes and you can register your interest or find out more here: bit.ly/2SFVYSX
