The best Short Story writing competition for Creative writers to enter this year has now LAUNCHED!!
If you’ve always dreamt of being a published writer then this competition could be for you.
At Creative Culture South West we are very passionate about the arts. Our vision is an all-inclusive space where people can develop their skills in a friendly and supportive environment, no matter their background, social-economic status, age, gender, physical ability, or sexuality.
We have recently launched a Short Story competition that we are extremely excited about. If you’re a creative writer or someone who believes they’ve got a bestseller inside but can’t seem to find the motivation to get started, this is the competition for you.
We are looking for individuals who have any ties to the South West of England, whether you grew up in the South West, Spent Summer Holidays down here, or Just passed by, we would love to hear from you. Writing can be extremely daunting and here at Creative Culture South West, we understand that. Our advice is to hit the ground running (so to speak). So pick up your pen or your laptop and get started. The competition is open until 10th January 2021. This gives you plenty of time to scribble down some ideas. All we ask is you let your mind roam free. Sit in your favorite corner of the house. Heck, you can sit outdoors if you’re a nature enthusiast. Grab a cuppa or a cold beverage and just let the ideas in your mind come to life.
So… how do you know if this is the right competition for you?
To enter this writing coemption all we require is for you to write a short fictional story covering 3000 -4000 words. This can cover any topic of you choosing the power is literally in YOUR HANDS!
There is a £5 entry fee for the competition. The most creative and best-written story will be getting a prize of £100. I don’t know about you, but that’s a great return on investment!
We understand it’s important to give credit where credit is due. That being said, the top 12 short stories will all get published. We hope this will motivate you to challenge your inner creativity. The stories will be published in a compilation and a portion of the book sales will be paid to the featured authors as royalties. This will give you a great opportunity to kick start your writing career and also gain the recognition you deserve.
