Exeter Chamber, the region’s leading independent business membership organisation, welcomes Exeter based venture studio, New Future Ventures as its new Growth Partner.

With over twenty years of experience in digital innovation and transformation, New Future Ventures is building a globally recognised centre for entrepreneurial excellence and the digital platform economy, in the heart of the Westcountry. By bringing together investors, entrepreneurs, and businesses, they provide support to ambitious leaders in the region, helping them to unlock the potential of the digital platform economy.

New Future Ventures based at Winslade Park, on the outskirts of Exeter, run an annual cohort of platform startups and corporate spinouts via its accelerator programme, offering three intensive, hands-on programmes designed to maximise the probability of software startup success.

As a Growth Partner the two organisations will work strategically together to enhance the connection between business and startups in the city, sharing new and progressive ideas to help Exeter continue to drive business success.

During a time of unprecedented interest in the business impact of emerging technologies such as AI, the partnership will help advance New Future Ventures in forming connections and providing support for those in the region who share their mission to build and foster a new generation of world leading digital businesses.

Richard Marsh, CEO of Exeter Chamber comments on the new partnership; “We’re excited to embark on this new partnership with New Future Ventures. This is an exciting time for tech startups, and the offering from our new Growth Partners is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to take the next step in their new business venture. We look forward to facilitating conversations between our members and New Future Ventures and to continue making Exeter the best place for business in our region.”

James Moffat, CEO of New Future Ventures shares why he joined the Chamber as a Growth Partner; “The Westcountry under indexes for internal and external investment into startups, and scale ups. This is partly an education issue, partly geography and partly about enabling a more cohesive, collaborative ecosystem. We recognise that the Chamber is at the heart of the business community, and working with that community we can help support and shape the city’s business ecosystem. We’re looking forward to connecting with members and sharing our mission and vision of the future.”

New Future Ventures joins Wollens, Griffin Chartered Accountants, Exeter College, Stagecoach, Radio Exe, Reach Publishing Services, Bespa and Cathedral Appointments as Exeter Chamber Growth Partners.
