Darts Farm Raise Record-Breaking £65k for local charities

The team at Darts Farm are thrilled to announce that over the past 12 months they have raised an incredible total of £65,790 for local charities & community initiatives.

Their charity initiatives have been nothing short of extraordinary, with an exciting range of events supporting a variety of local causes. Their iconic Pick-Your-Own Sunflowers raised vital funds for Hospiscare, while the popular Amazing Maze Maize supported the RNLI on their 200th Anniversary year. A record-breaking turnout at the Father’s Day Classic Car Show raised an equally impressive sum for the Estuary League of Friends.

Hundreds of participants from the local community set off from the farm to explore the beautiful Exe Estuary trail as they took part in the Summer Walk, hosted in partnership with the Hospiscare team.

As the year drew to a close, Darts Farm spread festive cheer through their Santa’s Grotto, with generous donations made to the RNLI, Devon Air Ambulance, and FORCE Cancer Charity.

The final donation took place just before Christmas as the team head down to Exeter Food Action. Thanks to donations during their Carol Evening, they were able to deliver over 65kg of fresh vegetables, local free-range turkey legs, and mince pies. Ready to be distributed to food banks, community kitchens and larders across Exeter and Devon.

‘We would like to thank our incredible customers and suppliers for their support and involvement in helping us to raise much needed funds for our brilliant local charities’ says Michael Dart ‘It has been amazing to see families and friends come together - whether they were picking sunflowers on a sunny day or spreading joy at our carol evening that rounded off the year.’

Alongside this incredible sum raised, they have also continued to work closely with FoodCycle Exeter. Each week donating surplus fruit and veg to create over 300 hot meals per month and supporting families that need it most in the local community.

With each event and initiative, the team at Darts Farm continue to demonstrate their commitment to supporting local charities and making a positive impact on the community.
